My First Light in the Dark - by Sakshana
In my dream, I saw the moon alone
Glowing softly with a darkened throne
No stars to hug, no light to lend
But it still shined, it didn't bend
I saw a star, away from the rest
In a crawled, but no felling blessed
Just like me - It stood apart
Holding silence in its heart
Behind the moon, the dark stood still,
But made its glow more calm and real
In dream, The dark give moon its grace
In my life my mother takes that place
She holds me strong when no one can
She stands alone - Both guiding hand and man
So when you see the moon so high know
Someone made it light the sky
My mother is the dark behind
The Love, The Power, The Silent Shine
